Non-standard custom-built
adapter cable for RGB legacy monitor remap to a standard VGA graphics
card. Ensure the DB9 is a Video Port and not a Serial COM Port.
- These adapter cables are
usually passive that only reroute existing signals. If the source
device does not output a video signal compatible with the VGA
standard, the adapter cable will not work regardless of the pin
connection.
